With all that's been going on lately, I'm grateful to our leadership for allowing mature topic discussion and comments. There were times in the past that that would not be allowed, or worse. So, thanks - hope that we can continue to be informed, vent, and discuss like adults ! Thanks again.

I completely agree with s&wchad! Please stay safe and well, without our members there would be no forum.

I have it on good authority that the mods have had to hire dump trucks to haul away all the deleted posts.
Where did they dump the contents? I would like to read them without getting in trouble.
They were unfortunately lost in a boating accident.

On another forum people are lashing out at others on the forum just because they are there. Even if you are sympathetic to their cause I've gotten some very unfair epithets thrown in my direction.

I have noticed one banned topic, religion, creeping into the forum.
I’m sure Lee is giving them an “essential worker bonus” for all their hard work.
We need to institute proper boating training (“seapersonship”?) and weapon security. And yes, there are floaties for handguns:

I think the Staff here on the forums do a remarkable job on keeping things running smoothly. Especially lately, dealing with all the Covid 19 stuff and also the riots that have been breaking out. They shut down the more divisive threads and keep us from getting too personal with our criticism of fellow members we happen to disagree with on certain topics without getting personal themselves.
And a note to the person who 1 starred this thread: in case you don't know it, they can see who voted what for thread ratings I believe.

Agree our moderators do a great job here. I’ve been dinged a few times for things that were my own fault and I’ve learned from it. Some of the stuff on social media, as well as other forums, has shown me how fortunate we are to have this place.
