This was in my care for a short time, and I was able to have it photographed. It is a 22 Jet that letters as being shipped with a factory nickel finish, TT, TH, red ramp, and white outline. Single click on the photo for a closer look

That's a beauty, I've seen a few nickel ones with the R-N stamp that I understand meant they were returned to the factory for the nickel refinish or, perhaps in some cases, blue ones nickeled to fill a special order for a new sale. Did that one have the R-N?

I hope there is a Nickel 53 in my future.
I have a 6” and 4” blue.. I guess I’m on the lookout for an 8” of either finish but a nickel would be nice.
I’ve never seen a 4” nickel 53 but I haven been looking for long.

A nickel Model 53 is pretty rare but all of the Model 53's are because S&W missed big time on the caliber. Supposedly they made a 3" barrel Model 53. That would be pretty rare in blue. Really rare in nickel!
