Hello,

Less than a year after buying the gun S&W 22lr Victory, I noticed that the front sight is not completely in line with the rear sight. I'm not sure where it comes from, I suppose, that the barrel is a little bit twisted in the relation to receiver. I'm able to make them inline before tightening the barrel screw set, but after tightening - it gets back to it's crooked position.
I took a few photos, to show how it looks like, but I'm not sure if it's visible enough to make a judge.
Have anyone experienced something similar with this gun? Is it eligible for a warranty claim or it's my fault somehow?

I had a similar problem with my Victory. When you look at the gun from the bottom, the barrel and frame are misaligned. With mine, it caused feed issues. S&W replaced the barrel. That corrected the problem. I don't think the quality is there with these guns.

The problem with online forums and guns is that the majority of posts concern problems. The of owners of a particular gun that DON'T have problems will not post unless they are overcome with joy. This skews the perception to more negative than is the actual case. Keep this in mind when considering any firearm.

I changed first post. Can you confirm you see photos now?

I can't tell from the pictures what you're talking about - a couple of the pictures are a little blurry. Is the front sight offset to one side or the other (barrel centerline not matched to receiver centerline), or is it rotated a bit clockwise or counterclockwise in relation to the rear sight (barrel rotated around bore axis)?

How does it shoot?
