I recently acquired a victory model with a broken cylinder locking bolt/lug. (you know the bit protruding from the fame below the cylinder into the locking notches)

I am wondering where to source a replacement, or could I use one from a "K" frame m19 or similar to get it going again?

It is called the "Cylinder stop" and is the same for all guns from ca. the 1920s until just after WWII. A "Victory" is a K Frame. Contact: Oldwestgunsmith.com E-Gunparts, Jack First, Poppert's, and there are others. Numrich (E-Gunparts) may even still have some WWII surplus parts on hand.
