Victory Snubby

Well--Barring something very unusual turning up in my "letter" I think that you have come up with the definitive answer.
My sight seems to be a cut down std.sight unit, not ramped.
I must say it was a logical and economic conversion to a readily available utility gun.
Thanks so muchfor info.
Regards
Ian

I've been reading this fourm for a while and never thought I would respond but this subject has come up a couple times that I know of and it interests me because I have 1 of these cut off guns so I joined. My daughter tried all my J frame guns and none of them suited her for a carry gun (too much recoil) so I dug this out and she loves it, shoots it often and carries always.

If the pictures don't show up I'll try again.

That one is almost identical to mine ,except my rfont sight has been cut down about an 1/8th of an inch which gives a much better sight picture.
I find recoil moderate,I am shooting 148 grain wadcutters with 3.8 grains of wichester 231 powder.
A couple of lady shooting friends have shot it and find it very controllable but a tad too large and heavy for purse or concealed carry.
Thanks for the post

My daughter just got a bigger purse. I even offered her my Colt Mustang Pocket Lite thinking it would suit her better, but no dice.
A couple of weeks ago my curiosity got to me and I ordered a letter on the gun I want to see what it started life out as, I haven't got it back but I will report when I get it.

Sounds like you,ve lost the Victory Snubby!
My wife does not like the balance of the Snubby but did ask me if I could do a conversion similar to it on a colt SAA.
I just happen to have a cheap Italian clone so I suppose it will be one of my next projects

Thanks for the info.
Now we need to find out who did the mods!
Seasons greetings and all that good stuff

Hi Bob:
