Vitoonmakers (Ebay) Grips

"For me, this thread is a Gold Cup Trophy. Many thanks to all of you for your kind words. I lurk in this forum constantly, taking notes on your feedback to make our products better. I'll make an effort to obtain more wood with less orange and to thicken the grips. I'll also consider creating target grips without finger grooves. In any case, as we don't have many artisans, kindly wait and return frequently to double-check.

I must apologize for all of my "overpriced listings" as well. Listings with a "sold" quantity were given precedence by Ebay. Thus, for certain items, I would like to maintain the "sold" quantity. I then decide to add one more zero to the list of things that need to be restocked. Just keep a watch on them, and you'll be notified when the price of that item drops to its regular level.

For additional details regarding shipping costs, I shipped using DHL Express (3–7 business days for delivery), which really cost me $28 at the moment and will continue to rise based on monthly changes in the fuel surcharge. However, I paid the difference of $22 for each order. The cost of regular mail is comparable, but it takes 11–23 working days to arrive. Simply consider that allowing customers to receive their products promptly is a better decision. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you so much for all your support. Vitoonmakers "

This is an impressive addition to the thread. Welcome, and thank you for providing additional detail as to how you and your operation works. I am sure you will see continued business from members of this forum due to the confidence builder your post provides. Don't be a stranger!!

I just purchased a set of grips for my new Colt King Cobra 22 from another maker in Thailand. Had you offered grips for Colt 2017 and later Cobras and King Cobras I would have purchased from you.

There are very few makers offering Colt grips for the new model D frame Cobras and King Cobras (post 2017). These revolvers have become very popular and if you would offer combat and Target grips I’m certain they would be a big success.

As mentioned many of us prefer grips without finger grooves.

Thanks for taking the time to join us here. I haven’t tried any of your grips yet, but will definitely do so in the near future. One thing that I really appreciate is when a manufacturer sees what their potential customers want, and then tries to make sure that it gets done. It’s refreshing. There is NOTHING better than beautiful wood on a S&W!

This gentleman vitoonmakers is overseas & made a tremendous effort to address the needs of his customer base, Why can't Tyler grips adapters who is stateside do the same? If vittonmakers could gear up to supply these grip adapters they are an accessory that compliments his grips I think they would be a successful addition to his current business.
Yes, shipping Domestically in the US has gotten very expensive so I understand how International shipping can cut into his bottom line.

I have seen no listings on eBay from Vitoonmaker for some time.

Usually when his Ebay store has the "this seller is away until [DATE]" message up top, he pulls his listings down until the specified date. I presume that he's away, taking inventory/awaiting manufacturing lead times, etc. Right now it says away until February 22nd.

Thanks for the clarification. I’ll be watching for his return.

I came across a Model 64-5 3" earlier this month and, since my collection was sorely lacking a 3" K-frame, I had to bring it home. It had a deteriorating and ugly Hogue Monogrip on it, however, and it couldn't stay like that.

I gave the Vitoonmakers listings a perusal and ordered. The stocks just arrived - I fully maintain that Vitoonmakers has the best factory S&W reproductions that are readily available. These RB target stocks are just what this piece needed! As expected, fit, finish, and coloration are all excellent.

Does the grips allow use of speedloaders ?

Yes - a Safariland Comp II speedloader loaded fine and fell free alright as far as I can tell.

How timely, I was looking at those last night.

I wish he would get some smooth targets made as well.

I've definitely seen smooth RB targets in his storefront before. Can't hurt to shoot him a message or something to see if there are any in the pipeline. That's what I did with these checkered ones last month on ebay and he advised that they'd be available sometime in April.

He has some light colored targets that I really like. I managed to snap a K frame set for this gunsmith special:

I believe this set of faux Colt all-checkered (1950s style) was from his as well. They were that orange hue mentioned above, so I dyed them to more resemble walnut.

I messaged him and he got right back. Smooth targets are coming in 1-2 months.

Ordered a checkered pair.

I bought a set of N-round combats for my 627-0 and the fit/finish is excellent. Only complaint would be the trigger guard to middle finger gap. On my Culina and Factory Smith Combats there's more room than on the Vitoon's. I have pretty big hands.

My RB targets are arriving on Fri the 18th. I just ordered on the 12th. Pretty darn good service, imo.
Beats the USPS by an ocean and couple continents. :D

I’ll be watching for the smooth RB’s.

I look forward to seeing what you get.

He is very responsive, he emailed me this morning to thank me and ask me where my brother lives that was part of our conversation.
My brother has lived in Thailand for the past two years. Not the usual story one hears about that at all.

My grips cleared customs yesterday, out for delivery today.
