Volquartsen extractor issue

Just received one in The mail today, the only problem is The thickness is way off it will not fit into the bolt.Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what is the fix?

Oh man, I bought one to have a spare to the S&W extractor in case I ran into problems but haven't put it in. Now I will install it to see if it fits and works. Glad to be reading old threads.....
