Interesting . I looked at one of these in stainless at the last show. They do have the lock. At about $600. it is a little pricey.

If I was going to own a 357 magnum J frame the 3" or 5" full lug would be my choice.

But ,,also from D&L ,,I really like their LEFT handed combat Magnum!

I'd say that is one BAD revolver!!

Well, I, for one, would appreciate a MUCH closer barrel cylinder gap than .008". My preference is .004" like my new Ruger Lipsey .44 Special Flattop single action.

Most of my Smiths run about .006" which is about on the "biggest end" of my preference range. I prefer to get all of the power that I am paying for (not blowing it out of the barrel cylinder gap) and further do NOT need spitting from a "too generous" gap.

That's just me, of course...

Definitely a NO LOCK revolver as it was manufactured before S & W introduced this dubious safety feature.

Look at the pic, it has a lock. Deactivated or not its still there.

I like it all...except for the porting...just not a fan of it.....worry about flash at night for defensive reasons...but otherwise, fantastic!

The picture I looked at showed the lock, possibly deactivated but still there with the classic sweep of the J frame at the sides of the hammer completely destroyed by the built up frame. Possibly a great weapon but I doubt that even a mother could love that ugly stick.

The worst thing about being left handed is having to learn to read the mirror image backwards.
The leftie gun is also a pre lock, pre MIM gun.
