The response I posted in the post by sipowicz was the explanation, in my view, why the Sheriffs are being disrespected, they have sworn to uphold the Constitution, thus they are being disenfranchised by the Feds. who are not sure about their allegiance because of the oath they have taken. Am I paranoid or what?

Seems to me that the 2nd "Shot-Heard-Around-the-World" has been fired. Gold County, Calif--seceded from the State, several in Colorado want to leave, law-abiding citizens refusing registration, this you posted--all to me--sounds a lot like what happened before the Revolutionary War started in earnest. Yet, with all this and many other things happening--the other side refuses to listen. I havent seen this Country so divided in my lifetime--as I see it now. Disgusting.......

A little perspective, this change in gun laws is a proposal submitted to the Vermont legislature and will not be acted on this year. Further, there is little support for these laws and they cannot occur without passage by the state. No local community can make any changes in gun laws in Vermont without first obtaining approval of that body. This has been tried before and defeated every time.
