There are a lot of new powders out there today and some are hard to find loading data for.
I had trouble with BE-86 and the new CFE-p powders when I first bought them to try out.
For those that might be looking at W572 ;
it is a very good slow burning powder, for the 9mm case, that will
give high velocities, at pressures that are within loading guide lines.
I have one "Net" source, that tested out this powder in several pistols
and used several weight bullets, in their test.
Here are some "Maximum loads" that you will need to work up to
to see if they are safe in your pistols, if you have to push the envelope?
This powder is a easy metering powder and 9.5 grs, almost fills the case.
Here is some of their data;
9.5 grs ...... Lehigh 65 gr ....... 1.10 oal .... 4" barrel ...... 1830
7.1 ........... Sig V crown 90 gr... 1.075 ..... 4.5" ............ 1475
6.0 ........... HAP 115 ............. 1.10 ......... 4.5" ............ 1295
6.2 ........... Delta HP 124 ....... 1.095 ....... 4.5" ............ 1285
These loads might not be safe in your pistols. Use caution.
Hope this might help out, if you buy this powder.
I will note that this company will be testing w572 in the future with "Major loads", for the 9mm case.
