Ha! Ive been saying that since they took the prison. A Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a bayonet is something like 6 feet long. With all those zombies just standing around the fence it makes an excellent spear! Even without the fence the 91/30 is great at keeping them at a distance, as a spear!!!

If'n the Zombie Apocalypse occurs, I'm thinkin' those who survive are going to arm themselves with the best they can get. And in the case of so few survivors on "Walking Dead" they would have a lot of choices. As such I would not use anything but the latest and greatest.

'Tis why today I do no town any "assault rifles" since when the Apocalypse occurs I'll just get one from a "former" some one else.

Of course the trick is to be one of the 33 or so survivors out of the million or more population of your surrounding area.............:D

But...at some point I would think there are some folks wandering around with whatever they picked up first. And in Georgia I bet there's still a lot of the old single-barrel shotguns around that most "po" folk" used for many years as their only game-getter.

This Sunday is the grand finale for this season, I hoping either Milton or Daryl will kill the Governor in a slow, deserving manner............

Yes I would like to see Milton do it. But if the Governor survives I hope Milton defects to Ricks group. I hope Daryl takes out Martinez though. And what about Ty and his wife, I think they go back to Rick's group.

They could use Milton, I think. What they need to do is test the baby's blood for the infection. If by some chance that baby was born without the infection - whatever is in that blood could be the "cure" that they need - ala Charlton Heston in Omega Man. ;)

I personally hated to see Merle go. He finally does the right thing, and pays the ultimate price. Plus, Michael Rooker is a native Alabamian, from Jasper.

It's an interesting show. I got into it late because I didn't think it could live up to the comics. They've done a good job making a TV adaptation though.

If they keep with the comics the next episode should be interesting. :)

I think that Daryl puts an arrow thru the governor's good eye. That is my vote. I hope that Ty and his wife rejoin Rick's group. It's been a pretty good show since its start. I have always wondered why they aren't better equipped too. You would think there would be all kinds of guns around. I say go back and fire that tank up!

I was wondering the same thing, although I do like the fact that Rick is still toting the Python. It is one of the most impressive looking guns on screen by far. I think what people don't realize is that when the SHTF (as opposed to if these days) there won't be the whole stash of weapons here or weapons there, everyone had better get what they can and plan on keeping it for a while. A good example is the current ammo/guns craze. I found a great deal on a .357 Magnum Ruger since no one really wants a wheelgun right now (except me) and when my taxes come in I will pay it off right off after a bunch of bills. People better as the Captain said in Cool Hand Luke, "Time to get your mind right."

Tyrese was a major character for a time in the comics, I was surprised when they brought him in but didn't give him the same kind of role. He was a very popular character.

Was there a 15-22 leaning against something in Morgan's bunker? It sure as heck looked like one, but there wasn't a close-up to confirm.

I never had a favorite character until this past Sunday. Now though...I'm firmly convinced Daryl is my guy. Watching the final scene, I realized how in-depth his character is. I don't care who kills the Gov, just so long as it's done. Thinking either Milton, Andrea, or Michone.

We can't even get .22 ammo ... you think .303 or 8mm will be in stock when zombies walk the streets?

It can be a bit slow at times but overall, It's a good show. Too many people on some other forums complain about how some things aren't realistic the way they're done but come on, It's a zombie show and it's entertainment. It makes for fun conversation at times. Everybody likes talking about what they would do in a given situation. Looking forward to this last show but not looking forward to the gap til season 4.
Walk on.

Greg

yes I have alot of 303 and 8mm been holding it back since 1987. and I also reload them.but 7.62x54r is all over the place.

Any chance you want to part with some 303 so long as its not POF

Was it season one where they walked right past an over run military position at the CDC without picking up ANY weapons? Common man....at least some ammo!!! Sheesh!!!

The more i think about it the more im thinking i would not want a surplus Mauser/Enfield/Mosin. They are great rifles for sure but they are not MOA (most arent). Sure they'll take out the enemy at a distance but in this case only headshots count. I think that if im gearing up with surplus rifles in a zombie world its gonna be Swedish Mausers and Swiss K31. Neither saw combat (in any real numbers. Not like the others) unless they are tangled with Bubba's hacksaw. Most are extremely accurate and both calibers, 6.5 & 7.5 are excellent long range.
