The wife the kid and I were at Walmart getting our groceries and I had printed out some photos but the clerk running the counter was nowhere in sight. So I see one of the blueshirts standing by a shopping cart nearby so I asked if she worked there and she said she did but that she wasn't on the clock and that if I needed to, to head over to the electronics section. I thanked her and started to walk away and then I heard her say mumbling "I'm on break for crying out loud what do you want." Well I don't think she intended for me to hear it but my hearing is usually better than most and that got my goat big time. I turned around and told her that wasn't called for and that I wasn't rude to her and she had no cause to be rude to me. What I got was "I wasn't being rude" and "I'm on my break." Another employee heard it and walked over and I told her what happened. She promptly got the manager and had another employer ring up the photos. As I told the manager, I can't talk to people like that in my job and I darn sure am not going to put up with it especially when there was no reason for it. He informed me the employee would be spoken to.
Then at the checkout the woman running through our stuff dropped a bottle of laundry soap and it broke the seal and it was leaking, she knew it because she started cleaning it up put it back and told us it was fine. I told her it wasn't fine and that I didn't need it leaking all over the place. "So do you want to go get another one?" My wife decided to go get it because at that point in time I was ready to tell the cashier where it could go that might stop leaks entirely. I really wish I could afford to shop elsewhere but we are pinching pennies these days and we go where the sales are. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't step foot into that den of dodo's and societal rejects.
