Just picked up a new to me with the intention of giving it to my daughter when she decides to move out. Cleaned it took it to the range to see how it functions, initially had feed issues, along with failures to fire (assume it is the ammo, usaammo). As the round count increased it seemed to cycle better, I am guessing it sat in a safe for a long time.

Anyways, anyone have one and what's your opinion of it.

Can’t speak to the PK but I have an Interarms Walther PPK that I bought in the 1990s. The pistol has had feed problems since new. It jams occasionally no matter what type or brand of ammo I feed it. I won’t carry it because it is so unreliable.

I have a stainless Interarms .380 PPKS that I bought new in the late '80's ..... it's been reliable from day one, digesting many different brands of ammo without a hic-up. I'm not going to try and guess the round count, but it has been fired many, many times.

Doesn't matter what firearm you ask about.....you will get a lot of diverse opinions.:)

My dad has a PK380 and had some issues until about 2-300 rounds in. then they went away. He reloads and I know the pistol does not work too well with light plinking loads. you should be fine with any decent factory ammo.

Weak, US market ammo often causes issue in European built guns. Try some Sellier and Bellot .380 ammo and see if your problems go away.

So I am guessing maybe +P ammo would be better in the American ammo market, how about PMC- anyone shoot that in a PK 380
