Walther PPS

To be honest, I prefer the P99c, but the PPS is just fine. The .40 is a bit harder to master, but it shoots straight. I don't care for the safety lever on the trigger. Becomes irritating after a few mags.

OTOH, it's flat, concealable, and, as I said, it shoots straight. Mine goes bang every time. No malfs at all. I'd rather be lucky than good, I guess.

George,
The earlier model PPS's had some problems with the slide stop and spring. I think the springs were either breaking or slipping off the slide stop lever, if that happened the slides would jam and the gun required a trip back to Walther for repair. It seems that the production codes BA could be hit or miss for the new parts, the LATE 2010 BA production and so far all the BB ( 2011 Production ) seem to have the redesigned parts and do not appear to have any issues. The production code is on the right side of the gun just before the little antlers. I was hearing that some guns had the ejectors pop off, I think it was happening more on the 40 cal than the 9mm. The Walther Forum has some great info if you need anything else. I have a 9mm that has been flawless.
