The five digit number you posted might not be the serial number but it could be. Is it located on the butt? If so, the gun is c. 1962 vintage.

The 22/32 J frames were introduced in Oct 1960 in serial #70XXX range. There won't be an M s/n prefix until 1969 at the earliest in a new serial # range beginning with M1.
