The era of the heroes of our youth is rapidly approaching its end. Most folks don't even know who these people are. I feel out of date, but not old. Most of our music is considered oldies now!
I recently heard Pearl Jam on our local oldies station! I feel both out of date and old!
While watching reruns on classic TV channels, it seems I may have aged. 
Those young women are now old or even dead. The older women on classic TV are now looking pretty good. How did this happen???

My preferred music was considered oldies before Pearl Jam was in high school.
I will soon be seventy.........Still a kid in an aging body.......I NEVER judge my life by the actions of others.

In my youth I was listening to Bill Haley and His Comets, The Platters, The Everly Brothers and doing the Twist. Not too many of us still around but I don't feel my age.

I'm still in the Perry Como, Eddie Fisher mode!
And add in a bit of Sly Stone.

I met a beautiful young lady yesterday. Told her some of my thoughts. Left to most likely, unless I am very lucky, never see her again. Old and married. Should have asked for a hug...At least I have memory left!

The wife and I went to the movies last week. Was looking at receipt, they gave us senior admission!!! We didn't ask for it, remember saying "two adult please." Smart aleck kid!
