Wanting to find a Governor

Saw one (the silver version) at an LGS today. Lightly used, $895 asking price. Seems a bit steep given the MSRP of $825 but then it doesn't appear there are many available lately (like everything else gun related). If you want LGS info PM me.

On a related shortages note. . . .did find H1000 powder today. First time I've seen any for sale for almost two years; and Retumbo, H335, TightGroup and a few others all at "normal" prices. And 100 round boxes of CCI LR for $8.95 instead of $40. Maybe the drought is close to ending?

My LGS has a new one, with CT laser, but it’s expensive at $1100.

My LGS has two new examples. One CT and the other standard, I was shocked as well to see them $900-$1100. Last summer there was a used example in their case for $599. I thought that looked reasonable. Came back the next day and discovered someone else thought that was reasonable as well!

My Governor is not for sale. Sorry. But I have been looking for Retumbo for a year since I bought a .338 Lapua. Have found 2 lbs of H1000, but no Retumbo. Guys I know say they haven't seen any in much longer.

There were two 1 lb. cans on the shelf today; $37.49 each. First time I'd seen any in a couple years.
