I have a 1.25 acre yard to mow, edge, and weed eat, plus trim the bushes. I tell myself that this what keeps me trim and sexy, plus it destroys wrinkles, grey hair, and flap.

Must have broke yore mirror too.

What sucks, is now x number of years later, we still need to show ID to buy cigs, booze, guns or vote!

My two oldest "mowers" have grown up and moved out. The youngest will be a junior in high school. Assuming he lives here during the summers while in college, I have a mower for six more years.

you grow up in the Midwest, it doesn't matter; Saturday comes, you're going to cut something. Now it tends to slop over into that last little bit on Sunday, too. But I will not give it up!!!! Even though I have a rider, I still imagine that summer sound of all those kids or dads pushing those reel mowers.

I used one of those two-wheeled jobbies a couple-a-times-till the fun wore off and the blisters wore on.

Jack the good news is, you are the oldest guy in the neighbor hood, you're still kicking.

Last Thursday I drove to a friends house some miles away. He keeps track of all our old time friends thru facebook etc.

The list of friends he told me about who have passed was looooong.

So Jack we may take a little longer to drink that cup of coffee and should take pride in folks saying wow that feller is the oldest one in the neighborhood. It is a great thing to be as old as dirt...... I too know this.
