I went in to see my local pusher last Friday to pick up my new Henry Rifle and headed to the used revolver counter as I waited for the fella to find my Henry and would you believe there was a beautiful Smith M57 .41 Magnum in the case next to a gorgeous SS Python and SS Anaconda. Anywho, it is now on layaway and I am now trying to find a source for .41Mag ammo. I was not really looking for a M57 but it was such a beautiful gun. I am stoked that I found one and can't wait to pick it up.

What length barrel? P&R or no? Blue or nickel? Box, docs, and tools or no?

You see, you left out too much info.

Nice work, armybass.

Can I ask which local pusher? I'm in Richmond and might be interested in the Colts.

Sorry, it is a 1980 P&R, 6" Blued M57. I would say 90%?

It is at Dance's Sporting Goods in Colonial Heights. I have found some real treasures there.

See, you keep lookin' and you stumble on to good things.

Check your E-mail.

congrats on the 41 mag.from dances!i just looked at the pair of colts there yesterday...incorrect grips on the anaconda but both are nice

they just got in a load of primers so i had to pounce on them!
my son scored a new 637 chiefs special while we were there looking...i had to resign myself to the primers and a soft case for my s&w AR-15....i did manage to put a deposit on the new model 632...whenever they can get them in!

The new S&W Mod 57 (Classic Series) shoots great. Had the chance to handle and fire them a couple days ago. Has the #@%^&$#@ lock, but that's the only detriment. Also, the J Frame 632 does benefit from the "porting". The 327 Federal is one potent cartridge, working pressure somewhere around 45,000.

Minor thread hijack, kenny did they have the 632 to handle? I often passed up on the 57, and 58's, are they on the n frame? I have a 629 and love it. Second question is a 41 mag the same case length as a 44 mag?

hi peyton...no...the 632 was not in..and i dont know when it will arrive...the 632 will be on the J frame...i have a 657 and model 29...they both shoot great and are easy to reload for...if you haven't purchased a 41 mag......i would....they are great shooters!the 41 mag.is an N frame
