My daughter and I set up a table at the Waukesha gunshow this weekend, I am pretty happy about it has gone so far. I have to go ut tomorrow, I have some holsters and breass and books left.

The guns and ammo all went yesterday and today, I had a glock and some long guns set up and some of the extra ammo I had in the basement.

I didn't go crazy on the prices, though I did see some expensive ammo. The guy behind me is selling custom 1919A1 and bren guns those look really neat. The other guys around me had ammo, blow guns and beef jerky. Saw some guns walking buy but nothing that tripped my trigger.

Some guy tried to sell my daughter a rabbit, the wife didn't like that at all so no rabbit. I had a lot of militaria and older gun books so I laid them out at 2 & 3 dollars and got rid of them.

My daughter and I had fun and we made a little money, I saw some nice S&Ws but most were out of my price range. But thats ok my daughter is staying home tommorow so i will walk around a bit.

Saw lots of buying going on seemed like a good show.

Well the end of the show was today, my daughter stayed home wanted to sleep in. Got out there sold some militaria and some gun books. All my guns and ammo being gone. Saw a man selling primers at $400.00 for 5000. I thought that was a little high but people were buying them.

Saw a lot of guns being bought and sold, the guy behind me built 1919s and AR's and sold a few of those. He is going to try and build a 20mm Vulcan that ought to be interesting.

Otherwise had a good time.

Gun shows are fun from either side of the table. You sometimes see real jerks walking past. After a while, you give them names (to identify the types.)

We used to do nasty things like guessing the weight of those passing by our tables. Or just watch the strange getups people come out into public wearing.

We did see some wierd folks or just dressed wierdly. I did see alot of cleavage too!

I only had one guy who was a *******, he tried to tell me the rifle I was selling was not functioning correctly. I quickly disabused him of that idea, and sold it to someone else. So when he came back to buy it it was gone.

Most of the people were pretty nice, one question I was asked was "where are all the Smiths" I answered "in the safe"

I had some older gun books and one guy paid me in Kennedy half dollars for one of themI was glad he was wearing suspenders.

I was thinking of next time giving away a free beer with every purchase.
