I've been heating with wood since 1961. First in a fireplace, then wood stove from Monkey Wards. Had a trash burner in the kitchen. Moved from the ranch into town & got a Lopi insert for the fireplace. Keeps the whole house warm. We burn Alder, Cedar, Oak & Fir, all well dried.
