Ive actually seen 15-22's here with so many accessories hung on it i could no longer identify the gun.
But this is a "fun" gun and shouldn't be taken too seriously,And people should do what they want with them.
Heck i have 3 types of optics on mine now and just waiting for some cheap replica folding sights in case all 3 fail.

CDNN has good deals on the m&p15... but id just get both.. i figure the 15-22 has saved me 5000 in ammo so far.

once my wife gets out of school and gets her a "real job" i plan on getting the real deal. still will use my 15-22 90% of the time. something to be said for that cheap ammo.
