We have lost FrankD45

The loss of a parent is never easy but the memory of the good times will live forever. I am sorry for your loss and wish you and your family the best during this tough time.

Carry a .50ae,

I am saddened to hear of your loss and offer sincere condolences. The last time I checked this thread, I was hopeful. Now I hope you and your family will find strength and comfort by sharing memories of your dad with each other and friends. Prayers on the way.

Chris

My sincere condolences to you and your family.
I always enjoyed reading Frank's posts here. We never met, though I live nearby in Greensboro. I'm currently working overseas and can't attend the services, but rest assured you guys are in my thoughts today.

My sincere condolences to you, and your family. Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful person, and I'm sure you will always have him with you as you go on with your life. Those that we love, are always with us... God bless.

After reading your first post I was concerned but hopeful. I just clicked to check his progress again and am shocked to read that Frank has now passed. I don't know what to say.... I'm so sorry.

So sorry for your loss. Your father's posts about his Italian-American heritage, traditions and food were priceless, especially his "Happy Thanksgiving" one last November. He must have been a great father and man. My condolences.

My sincere condolences.
His wit and steady calm will be missed.
God's hand on you and yours.

To absent comrades!

My best wishes and prayers go out to you and your family.

Best wishes, thoughts, and prayers to you and your family. I lost my own Dad last November...although the pain is real, great fathers imbue those around them with the strength to go on and keep the family strong.

I just went back and reviewed Frank's posts. What an erudite and kindly fellow he was. I'm saddened at the loss of a fine forum member and a familiar name in the topic threads.

I pray for his family's comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless.

Frank Jr.
My sincere condolences and with deepest sympathy to you and your family with the lost of your Dad(FrankD45).
I had the pleasure of gifting him a holster for his S&W 29-2 last year
and enjoyed his many posts on the S&W Forum.
Your Dad FrankD45/Frank DeStasio was well liked, and a knowledgable
member on this forum.
May he rest in peace.
Take care, 586L-Frame

My sincere condolences.
Your father sounds a lot like mine. Mine didn't know everything but he knew a lot and the older I get the more I realize I should have done alot more listening.
In a time when so many have bad fathers or don't even know their fathers, we can be thankful for some great ones.

This is little consolation, but your dad was a great guy. Not only will you miss him, I will too.

We teased each other pretty good here on the forum. We even worked up some of the same loads, he, while in N.C., me, here in the great white north.

God minister to your family at this time of grief.

It only underscores once again the fragility of human life. Frank, you are going to be missed, friend!

Having gone though this only one short year ago, I can relate very well. It still seems like yesterday to me. Everyone here was so kind, and supportive. They still are, and we will be for you too.

Your dad was a very good guy to interact with here. Always a gentleman. He will be missed by all.

May God bless and keep your family comforted during this time. A prayer was already said earlier today when Lee announced this sad news to us in the handloading forum, and we will continue to pray for you all to make it through the days ahead.
