Now while I pack a Glock...
Either one I'd be quite content with. Yes they are mine and I have a few more like them (66-3 and Speed Six) and they would do to ride the river with.
So why a Glock? Cause I won't cry if I drop it. Seriously I am done with plastic guns. I have several and I just don't care who makes another 'wonder nine' or 'wonder .40'. It's ho hum.
I find that except for the 21 ninja attacks that a good wheelgun, handled well, will do all that is needed.

Thats about how I feel, the XD just sits in a draw, only semi-auto I carry is a Kimber .45 ACP Pro carry II.
Otherwise any of my S&W revolvers are with me....
