Well I am giving up on this Apex Aluminum trigger kit.

I really think you will be happy with the poly version I am, and I like just the poly trigger I put on my 40c.

I hope so Steve, if I like it in my FS I will probably get one for my 9c. Either that or the DAEK.

I have both the DCAEK kit and the polymer trigger in my 9c. It's a nice combo IMO.

Had the same problem with the aluminum trigger. I was able to remove the pin that came with the trigger and used the pin from the S&W trigger; which was tight but moveable. After two hundred rounds the pin remains in place, no drift whatsoever.

I've installed 2 Poly & 1 Aluminum FSS with no implications using the armor's block. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

I've done two of the aluminum triggers now. At first I tried a hammer and punch so I understand your frustration. Luckily I have a small arbor press in the shop that pushed them easily. It is one tight little pin
