I saw what appeared to be a pretty clean early 4 screw 1905 in local classifieds early this morning.
Serial # placed it at approximately 1909 mfg. had a 5” barrel, leather holster and correct concave service stocks.
If the stocks were in good shape they were worth the asking price of the gun.
I was second in line. Nuts, somebody was a bit quicker.
Hoping some on here was fortunate enough to grab it.

A four screw in 1909? I rather doubt it. The fifth screw was added in 1905.

Knew early 1900’s were 4 screw and just assumed it was early enough.

Just curious what value you put on a set of concave K frame stocks? . . . and what price did the gun sell for?
