Went to go buy another Shield Plus, but....

I have two Performance Center Shield Pluses... A 3.1" and 4" model. I decided I wanted one with night sights too.

I called my local shop - they had one... I went down to buy it this morning... Noticed that it looked like the tritium in the front sight was yellow in color instead of green. But the store was too bright to see the tritium glow. The owner brought the gun to the back to check for me... Came back... Told me the front tritium is actually dead. They will have to send the gun back.

But, they will order another one - it should be in by mid next week....

So, 1 more week - Uggg

The trigger is a little heavier compared to the Performance Center models....

I have seen a few threads about the front yellow sights being dead
Sounds like a bad batch of sights

Now for you to order a M*CARBO Spring Kit before the pistol even gets here

Why not just put tritium sights on one (or both) of your current Shield's? It would be a tad beat cheaper.

I thought about that, but I REALLY like the fiber optics. I don't want to take them off those 2 guns. I want to keep them as is, and just get 1 more....

There are few companies that offer tritium set behind fiber, so you get the best of both.

Yea, I saw those. The next time I replace set of night sights on a gun, I plan to go that route
