What about the real .22 Magnum, the Model 53? .22 Remington Jet, also known as the .22 Remington Center Fire Magnum. Made '61 to '74 in 4", 6", 8 3/8". An absolutely awesome revolver.
How about a picture for reference?
The 648, a stainless version of the 48. The Model 51, blued, and the stainless 650 and 651, all are J frame kit guns. The 650 has fixed sights and the 651 has adjustable, I think they are all 4" barrels (but I am not positive). Some of these have 2 cylinders, 1 for .22LR. Then the 351PD, an "Airlite" 7 shot revolver with a 1 7/8ths barrel. I think that is all of them.
Yep. I had a pinned many years ago. It was 6" and shot well. It would bind after firing only a few rounds due to powder fouling. Bought it NIB but foolishly sold due to the small cylinder gap. That's such an easy fix but at the time I didn't know.Regarding the Model 48, did any of them have pinned barrels?
See this thread:The Model 53 is interesting and will be on the lookout for one.
