Best M&P I have owned. Didn’t like it at first but it is my go to, range day today another hundred flawless. It is a M&P so I wouldn’t expect anything less.

Good to hear. All of my M&P's have been good and functioned as designed but the new triggers have taken them over the top. Waiting for the compact version.

I have the Metal and the Competitor and feel they are the best M&P's I have owned. I am a M&P fan (own 10) and have not shot any other brand/model as well, only speaking for myself. Put a Holosun Green Dot on the Competitor yesterday and going to the range Tuesday. Springfield Armory/Custom make up my 1911 collection.

Waiting for a full size .45 with the new trigger. Plastic or metal.

I was too but got impatient and just got a 2.0 in 45. Only difference is the crappy hinged (my opinion) trigger and no optic cut.

I will say I do prefer an optic cut to a specific optic for a more secure mounting platform.

Sent it off to Nameless Arms for the cut, and am installing an Apex.

I will say that the hinged 2.0 trigger isn't too bad though. I just don't like this type of trigger. There is a reason Smith is doing away with it.

They do have a 45 threaded barrel model out right now with the newer trigger and optic cut so I wonder if it's a matter of time before they come out with a standard non-threaded model.

I think the big slowdown with these companies not coming out with any new models in 45 lately is obviously due to everyone and everything in this world going back to 9mm.
