Just wondering, if you are not having issues with your 15-22 what ammo are you using?

Federal 40 grain solid.
American Eagle (federal) 40 grain solid.
Federal 36 gr hp
CCI mini mags

CCI Standard Velocity, 40gr.
CCI Mini Mags, Round Nose 40gr.
CCI Mini Mages, Hollow Point, 36gr.
CCI Stinger, 32gr. Hyper Velocity :D
Federal Lightning, Round Nose, 40gr.

CCI is the best!
Blazer is cheap and it shoots really good.
Just DON'T USE HOLLOW POINTS!!!!!!!!

CCI Mini Mags 40 gr.round nose 1235 fps absolutely no failures of any kind.

Use CCI Blazer. $17.99 or so for a brick of 500. It is a little dirty but only had one dud round in 1500. It doesn't stay in stock for long so sometimes it is hard to find.

Haven't had any issues with the Winchester Super X either but $8 for 100 isn't economical for plinking.

Why don't use Hollow Points?

I read somewhere that hollow points caused a lot of FTFs in the 15-22. Then i noticed all the ammunition that was causing me problems was hollow point i.e. Remington gold, Winchester hyper v 333. I think the hollowpoint's edge snags on the feeder ramp. I use those cheap and dirty blazers they shoot good.

I've used Winchester 333 and Federal Spitfire (Gander Mountain brand). Both have been OK - a few fail to load, but no fail to eject.

My rifle shot terrible with blazer:confused:

CCI Mini-Mag HV , 22LR CRN-40grain, 1235 FPS. Works fine, shoots long time. Number 1 GI number 1

The 36 grn fed bulk pack hp's shoot very well in my rifle. Blazers were terrible:confused:

Federal game shok has worked the best for me. Good luck finding any.........

i use the Federal 550 bulk pack from walmart, Winchester wildcat, CCi minimags, and Winchester SuperX HighspeedRN, with great results.

federal lightning

the 40gr solid pt federal lightning worked great today...100 rounds and one fail to feed. costs about the same as the federal 550 bulk packs at walmart.

In mine, I've used the cheap Fed. bulk from Walmart with good results. In other guns(10/22, 63) Rem.GB sucked. Sometimes they felt and sounded like a CB and other times like a .22 mag. And other times nothing but a ding. I haven't and wont use it in the 15/22 for these reasons. I'll just use them up in my .22 revolvers.
I've used CCI and Eley in the M&P 15-22 with awesome results. Federals too. I do like to keep my guns and mags. clean.

Federal 550 Bulk Pack exclusively. It feeds, goes bang and ejects every time.

LTC

I mostly use Federal also, Bulk packs and bricks with 50 round box's inside. I tried some Velociraptors but due to it being my first mag ever threw the gun i loaded it wrong and mangled a few, My fault and not the guns.
I just picked up a box of Winchester Hyper X bulk im gonna try as well as some Aguila 1700 fps 30gr hyper velocity stuff thats really hard to find, So i wont shoot to many of those.

I wont even buy Remington .22 ammo, The bullet just flops around and isn't tight in the brass case.
