I went to a ton of gun stores the other day looking for my next rifle, and noticed the prices on CCI Tactical are all over the place.

At the first store it was a damaged box "on sale" for $29.99.
At the second store it was $22.95 so I bought some.
Then at the third store it was $19.95:mad:

No tax in Montana. I love buying my gun stuff here.

So what is everyone else paying? Just curious, because it's a pretty good deal at $19.95 per box and I might have to switch from Blazer.

Most places I have seen have it for sale around $20 here in Ohio.

17.99 - 22.99 depending if it's on sale.
if you can get to a cabelas store and ask for bulk they will discount and give an ammo can for every increment of 4 boxes you buy.

I usually go to CTD, $19 regular price, often on sale for $17 or less. They also have great prices on CCI Mini Mags.

Cabelas usually have ok prices when on-sale, or with a coupon.

a lot of times if you are purchasing multiples you can get a better deal without a sale or coupon, you just have to ask someone in the area, and they will put together a bulk deal. they will do it with basically any ammo they stock unless its already sold in a bulk can (like a lot of the federal stuff). My store did have a sign, but it was tiny printed on a sheet of paper, and well hidden.

I've done it with cci tactical, and some 7.62x54r, and my buddy did it with some 9mm.

every instance we've done it it worked out WAY cheaper than normal sale prices (including the web only specials) :)

I've picked up boxes of CCI A/R Tactical, 375 rounds, for $24.99 at the Bass Pro Shop here in Vegas. I recently gave CCI Blazers a shot...$21.99 on sale at Big 5 Sporting Goods for a box of 500.

Both run flawlessly in my 15-22 (as well as my M&P 22 and my 'picky' Walther P22).

I was at a small gun show yesterday where a vendor was selling CCI Tactical at the discount price of $26.99... Gotta love those gun show ammo dealers!

The worst part is seeing someone buy it! Last week I saw a guy pay $9.99 for Stingers when there was a Wal-Mart next door. I don't mind helping small business, but a $4 markup for a box of 50 is just too much.

i bought a box at gander mountain for $23 and another at palmetto state armory for $20.

Picked up 3 boxes at Talbor in San Bruno California off El Camino Real. I remember it was $24.99 per 375. But again well worth it when shooting. It is the best ammo for MY M&P 15/22 to date. I stop by there every month of so and buy them out if possible.. Keepem in the X ring... I do,.... well I try...

I paid ~$20 on-line (PSA and ATG) for the CCI and $40/1000 for the M-22. Possibly not everyone's experience, but for me the M-22 has been the better round so far. I haven't got it out to the 100m range yet, so that may change.. Ron

Was just at cabelas off 41/45 in wisconsin today.. 24.99 for tue cci tactical, and the m22 was only 46.99.. ( store closer to home sell it for 54!!) .. also picked up two more mags for $20 each

I'm in western PA and the 3 gun shops i go to are anywhere from $23.99 to $26.99

The cheapest shop is also managed by my uncle so I typically get 2 or 3 boxes for $20 for all of them! :D:D

Thanks for the replies guys.

I guess next time I'm in Helena ($19.99 no tax) I'll buy a lot more. They had a pyramid of what was in stock, like you see in the beer aisle at the grocery store.

I ordered 3 boxes of CCI Tactical from CTD the other day. It was delivered in some apparently new packaging. What do y'all think of this?

I think I preferred the traditional CCI packaging!

This has been my experience with the M-22 as well. Marginally tighter groups for me, but at half the price. If you haven't already, give the M-22's a try.
