What can S&W build for you?

I'll take a blued K frame in 10mm.

For those of you who mentioned wanting a K frame in .327, Hamilton Bowen is doing the conversions and seem to be coming out really nicely!

two guns, first off, a 338-(model 38 with the titaniun cylinder al la the 337 and the 342) second, and this is a stretch, a 38/44 HD in Stainless and chambered for the .357-hell, make it an 8 shot while you're at it. I'd buy either one of these even with the lock.

Model 29---6 1/2 inch barrel-hammer mounted firing pin-square butt---TT-TH-TS and NO LOCK!!!

The actual "Classic" revolvers with no IL and the old type hammer and cylinder stop and real trigger not the folded metal thing would be nice. Any models they have out now but made that way would be top of my list. A model 22 and perhaps a 622 with a 3-3.5" barrel would be desirable. Also, night sights would be good. I have a 66-1 2.5" that was fitted with night sights and given an action job. It is very nice!

Off the top of my head, without the internal lock, magnum frame, or MIM parts, and with the firing pin where it belongs:

-A .44 Special 5-shot the size of a Charter Arms Bulldog but with the centennial frame and a dovetailed or pinned front night sight.

-A fixed sight version of the 625 (621 or 622 perhaps) in .45ACP with 3" or 4" heavy barrel option, or a 4" pencil barrel.

-A 681 with a round butt, 3" heavy barrel, and 7-shot or 6-shot cylinder options. Dovetailed front night sight, and optional DA/SA or bobbed hammer DAO.

-Bring back the 3" HB 13 and 65.

Landric - I'll take one of those 3" 681's too!

You should run S&W's design department! Regards 18DAI.

I see they've brought back the 14 again.
I would like the 14 with the underlug barrel.
With or without lock, but lockless preferred.

I do plan on getting a 438, when I have the do-re-me.

Taper barrel Model 58. Intact frame and bar stock lockwork. Make it in 44 Special, 45 Colt, and 44 Mag too.

I'd like to see them build a 329PD with a thicker top strap blast shield for those of us who shoot ours a lot.

Hi, Up North , in Canada , everything under 4 and 1/8 is prohib and impossible to import, I will like to see S&W build all the 4 inch gun they produced with a 4 1/4 barrel, this way, more of us , in this cold winter , will be able to enjoy these excellent new product like the Thunder ranch gun, Mdl 21 etc... I am sur ethere will be be a good market for them up here.

Good Day all!

Found this old thread while searching for .460 Rowlabd info and thought it deserved to be resurrected.

In a heartbeat I would buy a 5 shot L frame 10mm with 4 inch barrel in stainless hopefully. I would also buy a 5 inch barrel 625 Power Port in .460 Rowland

How about an N frame with 5 inch barrel in .50 GI? While they are at it they could build an N frame Power Port 5 inch barreled 5 shot .500 JRH since the .500 Mag is so unwieldy

What could S&W build for me? A 19-3 4" nickle plated .357 Magnum just like the one I gave to my father. It went missing after he died. It was to have gone to me. I'd really like to be able to find one. I haven't seen one in a long time. So, if it were possible, that is what I'd have S&W make for me. Sincerely. brucev.

K frame round butt, 8 shot 327 magnum with 3 1/2 inch barrel. Adjustable sights.Pinned barrel. Old style bright blue finish.
