Circa 1971... For me it was a Vertibird. Does anyone remember this magnificent helicopter? It was the only toy myself and my brother could play with together as he had Muscular Dystrophy. The controls were easy to manipulate so he could hover and land. I recently purchased an old version off of Ebay for $320. Best money I ever spent as it brings back found memories. These were built of many springs and moving parts. It works as well as a Smith and Wesson. A sowing machine. Glad to have it back!

I had a Rupp TT500 minibike that I would love to have back. I got it when I was in the 4th grade and ended up selling it several years later to a second cousin....

A few things: 1) All of my valuable comic books I had which were stolen from me. If I had them now? id never have money worries again for any spending habits I have. 2) MY DADS BOXED SET OF hand-painted CAST IRON- toy soldiers. 3) My snot-covered (sleeves) Daniel Boone buckskin leather jacket-hand-me-down.

A few books that have gotten lost over the years, like my copy of German Submarines, Vol. 1 (Navies of the Second World War) that I lost on a school bus during a class trip.

They don't make books like that anymore.

That's an easy one. Just looked on Abebooks. Just type in what you did in this post, they have that exact edition starting at less than $4.00 plus shipping. Lots of selection for condition, some with free shipping. I have dealt with Abebooks for years, and they are great. Actually a bunch of independent bookstores all over the world, and Abebooks processes your order, and the individual store ships it to you. I have never been disappointed. Ordered one recently that shipped from England, and it was here in a week! I would give you a link, but don't want to break a forum rule.

Best Regards, Les

Thanks.

It took me quite a while to figure out the title. I thought it was a Doubleday book, but it's actually Macdonald.
