what did you pay for your shield 9s or 40s

Paid $349 a piece for two of them the first day they came out in April of last year. I sent in the required information and got two $50 checks back with the Veteran rebate. So I the end I paid around $300 for each plus tax.

Wow.

I thought you were only allowed one rebate for each gun type. I was denied for my others....

Paid $400 OTD last December for a 9mm. :) Recently paid $900 OTD for a .40 Shield with another gun. Sold the another for $700 which puts me into the Shield for $200. I need some more of those deals! :D

I got ya beat on that one....

I paid $1400 for two brand new guns and sold one for $1600 the next day.

During the hype it was.... ;)

Fifteen months ago I paid $449 + Tax. Just saw online that the Local Gun Store just got a bunch in and is selling them for $370. :-(

I got my .40 shield (NIB) two weeks ago at a local gun show.
Priced at $419, I traded a used Ruger SR40c (which I absolutely despised) and $50 cash.
I paid 375 for the ruger (nib), so the math comes out to be $425

This pistol is worth every penny, if not more. I gave up a high capacity brick of shiny JUNK for a sleek, reliable, accurate single stack and will NEVER regret it, as I now carry with confidence.

What's the Veteran's Rebate? How does it work?

South Florida 9 mil cost me $525 inclusive of the Apex trigger kit
($95 )free installation and 3 hrs range time

I paid $335 with free shipping from Bud's Police Supply but I waited a long time for them to finally have some in stock. If S&W honors the $50 veterans rebate (technically not applicable to the Shield) my price will drop to $285+my fee to my local FFL.

For those that have them in their states check Big R Stores, I picked up a 40 Shield for $425.00 and when I purchased it they had 4 40 cal and 4 9MM in stock at the store.

I did not have a problem, mailed in paperwork, received two checks a week or so apart. Are you saying that I can only buy one of each of their products and get the rebate?

I was told by others that they didn't do it on the Shield but when I sent mine in they did, on two of them.

I do see on the website that they are not doing it for the Shield. They added that since I sent mine in last April.

I only got one rebate for each gun type...

1 for an AR15. 1 for a revolver and one for an M&P.

I had one claim rejected for one of my Shields.

Maybe it's just luck of the draw getting someone who doesn't care when they open the envelope. ;)

They stopped doing the shields all together according to their website. Did you buy both shields at the same time and was it early in release? If you did one early on I bet that is the one they gave the rebate for. Was the second was denied after they added the shield to the list of no rebates(15-22)?
