Father in law passed and had this revolver. Italy on barrel , 38 Special on other side of barrel , looks like a smith and wesson copy. What do i have here? Files attached. thanks

Looks like an EIG "chiefs special". Made in Italy and imported in the 50's-60's. This link will give you a little info on the company.
