If I am shooting my 480 Ruger Super Redhawk I bring my front rest and sand sock for bench shooting. I also bring White Target Dots cut from card stock, and spray adheasive to attach them to cardboard, etc. I need white for the UltraDot scope. Red on Orange does not work well. Red on White works very well.
No need for pop or snacks, we have them for sale in the Club House.
And there are tools, targets, helpful range officers. I just bring my guns, some ammo, some "Shoot N C" targets to paste on the cheap paper targets, and a large cup of ice-tea.

Wish I had the patent on those frankly. Seldom go to the range without them, or purchase them there, or before if I'm doing shooting at the family farm.
Pretty much what others have said but it depends on where/when as well. Problem I have is that I end up lugging so much **** that I don't use, just in case.
I throroughly enjoy hooking up with my pards and blasting some rounds. Too many reasons to list.
Two added benefits is that I find that I shoot less but have more fun if I'm shooting with a buddy or two. Also you can better gauge your accuracy and rythm. For instance, you could be shooting under adverse conditions and it effect your results in a negative way. Shooting alone, you'd be dissappointed with your results. Shooting with buddies and you'll see that conditions impact everyone equally and feel better about your results.
New.....please take this advice and thank me later on. Go to MidwayUSA.com and order at least one of their large range bags. They are very well made and will protect your gear nicely. I've got two and would like to order another real soon.
Targets are a great idea but try a few different sizes and colors for different ranges and distances. Shooting indoors you may want a different colors for instance because of light conditions. Different sizes due to different distances that you may shoot. Get a spotting scope with a tripod and a case they cost about a $100 but it will make your life easier and shooting more enjoyable. Its better than struggling with binoculars! On an indoor range they have mechanized target holders you can pull back but on an outdoor range you wont have that luxury so get a scope when you can. Also get a good range bag so everything is together. All these things make it easier and more fun. People are quick to buy new guns but wont buy any of the above items. Ammo is good too you can forget it and leave it on the kitchen table or your workbench. Have fun. Be safe.
