I tend to accumulate a lot of honey-do jobs!:)

I have over 25 Hess trucks. All pristine and most still in the cellophane! It started out as a joke years ago as I'm a very hard person to give a gift to, I see something I want I get it, most times if I do not buy something I do not want it to begin with. Drives the wife and kids crazy.

A bunch of years back my wife said what do you want for Christmas, being the jokester I'm I said O just get me a Hess truck. Since that comment I have quite a bunch. As I have a post&beam house they all are on the beams that span my office!

My love for coffee led me into the byway of vacuum coffee makers. Once a preferred instrument for making coffee at home and at diners, they are fascinating to me. It's fun to watch them function and the various designs over the several companies that made them led me down the path.

Unfortunately, they are not as compact to collect as coins and stamps!

Besides guns, I have two other interests - my wife often complains that she has no expensive hobbies - except for me :D

Knives, cameras-lens, and cookbooks.
And tools. One of my hobbies is picking up tools off the road.
Over the ages I have recovered more tools off the Road than a lot of folks own.
Unfortunately, they tend to be the cheaper tools.
Folks with Snap-On and Craftsman don't lose that many.

Carbide Miner's Lamps and Swedish camp stoves such as Optimus, Primus and SVEA. Shiny brass and flame on both what is not to like?

Postal Covers from US Navy ships and submarines. Most of my collection is from subs lost during WWII. Each ship has several from keel laying, launching, shakedown cruise, first deep dive and so on.

In addition to my S&Ws I have a collection of mostly fixed blade knives. I just can't get enough Gerstner wooden tool boxes. They are full of, knives, old tools, reloading stuff, grips,
etc. Mostly the Gerstners are restored, but a few need it yet.
Even keep medicine in one of them.

Case pocket and sheath knives , die cast banks , books about the New York Yankees , golf balls , WWII revolvers , really enjoy all the collections especially the S&W 's .

Picking up tools off the road is why I have about 15 claw hammers. I even replace broken handles.

Bi-Centennial quarters, my oldest was born in '76. Lately, folding knives. Not collectors, ones I can use. Trouble is, I can't carry them all at once.

knives (300 or so), Holsters (400 or so) airsoft guns (150)
Someone at the LGS said
"boy, you sure collect stuff that aint worth ****"
I resemble that remark

My wife and I have been collecting antique wooden boxes. My wife likes butter and cheese boxes because most have neat artwork or manufacturers slogans printed on them. My preference leans towards liquor, cigar and ammo boxes.
