What do you PLAN to reload next?

I'm pretty pedestrian with my needs... I've got a big box of 22s of reasonable quality and a couple of hundred 32 S&W Longs loaded up, so I need to unlimber the Dillon and load up some MRWCs in 38 Spl so I can take out the trio of K frame Masterpieces for a romp.

Nothing. The first 6 weeks of stay at home, I cleaned/sorted my brass. Then loaded 9mm, 38 Spec and 40 S&W. Ranges were shut down, even after they re-opened, Too much chance for me to get out. The surge here in Indiana is twice as bad as it was to start. So for now, my presses will stay idle. Spending my time loving my wife and our 2 beagles :-)

I'm taking a break from casting 124 grain Lee Truncated Cone, Tumble Lube bullets from a two cavity mold. I shoot those unsized and tumble lubed in my Rossi 357 lever action. They'll get loaded in 38 cases over various charges of Unique. Some will get shot this weekend for sure if not tomorrow/Thanksgiving.

9mm. Except I warped my mold and I can't find a replacement! I may have to bite the bullet and order a $100 mold. But I really want that particular mold anyway ...

And 5.56. I have a thousand CCI 41's on hand and a batch of brass inbound one of our fine forum members made me a great deal on.

Glad that I could help you figure out what to load with the 130 gr 38 special HST bullets............

I am now on "Hold" until I can pick up some SPP from around town or the net.

Looks like rifle and trap shooting for the next 6 months or more,
which I do have a lot of loads to check for best accuracy or "Meat loads".

After a couple recent thread I'm going back to my 38 S&W experiments.

Learning bottleneck case reloading, so a little a a time what with studying and ordering more tools. So 6.5 creedmoor on and off. Waiting for a package of Hornady Lock n Load bushings. Also will tune up the Dillon 550 for .38 spec +P. Got carried away with .41 mag, 10mm and .44 spec and forgot the .38.

Inventory dictates...

I try to keep stocked with everything in case of shortages, and I did well for everything except small pistol primers. Somehow I fell asleep and let myself drop under 2000 SPP. Just loaded some 44Sp, 44Mag, 45ACP yesterday. My SPP I'm saving up for a son who wants to learn how to re-load. All he has to shoot are two 9mm pistols and a shotgun. Tomorrow is his birthday, so I'm giving him everything he needs to re-load. RCBS starter kit, powder, bullets, dies, manuals... everything. I even threw in some of my precious SPPs because God knows he'll never find any in this environment.

He's fed up with the current environment in our town which has become a hotbed for child abductions. One of the bars in town just got busted for dropping runaway kids through a trap door in the floor down to the basement. The kids were then taken through a tunnel out to an alley where a panel van is waiting. They disappear and are never heard from again.

It's little children they're after too. His friends in law enforcement have told him how they target women who go out with their small children, mark their cars in the parking lot, and then follow them home. Once home they case their family's movement until they know exactly when dad won't be home. It's bad enough that they've decided she won't go out in public with the children unless he's with her. He also just picked up a second gun for her. Of course they have no ammo. We're going to change that soon.

So for the immediate future, my plan is to load lots of 9mm with my son. I'm proud of him for wanting to do this. For now I'm perfectly content to shoot the large caliber pistols for awhile.

You aren't going to loose anything. I would try putting clamps on the mold and get it hot as needed and re tighten an let cool. I have taken aluminum lee molds that had an out of round base on the boolit that were bevel base and carefully file them down about .015-.020 and make a flat base that is round. You may have to use a vice. Lee is good to deal with and it may be in warranty or they may give you a discount on another.

I hadn't thought of heating it back up and clamping it. Thanks for that idea. In normal times, it's a $20 mold, replace it and move on. In the age of lunacy, however ...

I plan on starting to work up some loads of 44 spl and 45 colt for hollow base wad cutters loaded backwards

I tested a few .223 last week. I've upped that particular charge and will retest. I've got 600 more 55 grain fmj and the brass is ready..Finally.
Rifle case prep is terribly boring.

I didn't expect 34 responses so quickly: a big LIKE & a THANKS! to all who responded... Looks like quite a few of us will be busy as the proverbial beavers?

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, nonwithstanding the further attempts to establish and exercise unConstitutional CONTROLS over our liberty and freedoms!

.38 Super. I have some Berry's 130 RN to load up using my stand-by target loads and some very interesting 130 gr. HPs that I want to experiment with.

Also some 7.65X53 Mauser for use in the spring.

Then I may deprime some of the thousands of rounds of 9mm empties that were never worth the time before.

If this situation persists I may have to start melting down some of my accumulated wheel weights.

My 6mmBr. But its been on the to do list for over a year.
Takes about an hour to do 10 rounds.
Spring coming and need to plink squirrels at up to 400 yds.

With carpal tunnel surgery on the horizon (in 2 weeks), I plan on loading some 38 Specials (158gr RN), 9mm (124gr FN), some 224 Valkyrie test loads, and prep and run some 223/M193 on the Dillon. If I have time, I'll prep and load some 223 80gr match loads for my upcoming season.
