I have recently started using H110 with a 240gr. XTP.

I have read that you should use a heavy crimp, especially with H110. I've always crimped just enough to prevent the bullet from unseating itself under recoil, but I've always used IMR-4227.

So, does anyone have any close-up pictures of what a heavy crimp looks like using H110?

Thanks in advance for all the information.

P.S.: This forum has quickly become my favorite for reloading!

Neither of these used H-110, but if you turn off your X-ray vision, that shouldn't be a problem:

Tennessee Valley Bullets by our own NKJNut, by the way. :)

This is exactly the kind of picture I was looking for and going by the picture, I do indeed need to crimp more than I have been. I've been using IMR-4227 and it doesn't require a heavy crimp like H110 - at least not in my experience.

Thank you for taking the time to post the picture.
