What Does "Tactical" Mean To You?

...Finally, I would just like to make one suggestion: If you can't seem to find a way to participate in the shooting sports in a positive, constructive and inclusive manner, why not just get heck out and leave the rest of us alone?...

I'm not sure if the above is YOUR thoughts or the writer you're quoting. But I have trouble with it.

I don't think that "dressing in every color camo" or any of the other complaints listed is any kind of failure to "participate in the shooting sports in a positive...[etc]" way.

Not ALL practicers of the sport/hobby of shooting have to be old, hunched over men who shoot bullseye.

I personally, would rather see people involved in shooting sports, even if they seem a bit "mall ninja" than getting involved in some kind of criminal or malicious activity.

I don't think a productive way to invite and welcome people into the sport is to pre-define what kind of mindset and wardrobe they must have before entering, nor to belittle them once they're there if they don't meet my personal mold of what I think a shooter should look/act/think like.

And finally, I don't care for the writer's "...and leave the rest of us alone" statement. That writer speaks for HIMSELF, not for me, not for "the rest of us". He's welcome to make whatever kind of statement he wants. But he's NOT welcome to include me in his statement by using the "us" pronoun.

Those butt freakin ugly rails.

Tactical, sniper, and what ever is over used and over rated.

But the guy who came up with the "ZOMBIE" ammo is the best marketing ploy I ever read.
