What does your wife or significant other carry?

She's always packin' a pair of 38's ....and her issue Glock 17. :D

a deadly look, and can shoot daggers from her eyes. She dislikes guns, is a good shot. She said she had enough guns when she was in the military.

Ms. TStick and I went to the LGS and first looked at wheel guns; which were quickly and summarily dismissed. I then had a line-up of proven reliable autos made available to her; which let to lots and lots of holding, weighing, aiming, and meh comments - but then something happened - she stopped when she got to the XDsc and her face lit up. She said it felt like an absolute extension of her hand an she refused to put it down. From that time on all other guns were picked up with her other hand, and then the XD may or may not have been moved to her weak side hand while further evaluation took place, but the XD never touched the counter again once she held it.

I really wanted her to like the M&P, and I almost mouthed off -especially when she asked what I thought; but to avoid becoming a husband buys gun for wife story, I just said "Your gun, your choice - any of them here will go bang every time so pick what you want." We then left with the XD.

It has worked well. She looks forward to shooting it every chance she gets, sometimes she will take it out just to look at it, and she scares me with her accuracy now.

After we first got married, she stole my Sig p229 in 357 sig and had a purse built around it.

Then she swiped my Colt Commander....then I bought her a sig p239 in 357 sig and took back my p229.....then I bought her a sig p238 so she could carry based on her needs (size matters).

I ended up buying her a Colt Commander exactly like mine and I took mine back and had it bob-tailed....I keep threatening to take the other Colt and chop it off too - she gives me this awful dirty look every time that I say that too.....

She has some other guns that she takes to the range, but those are her carry rotation.

Mine carries a 642 most of the time. Changes out occasionally with a Kahr P9. Very proficient with either.

Originally a Sig P228, that she absolutely loves, but I brought home a Shield 9 and she loved it so much it got properly dubbed, The Lady Shied, and my .40 Shield is on it's way. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362015671.342669.jpg

My wife and I are in our 70's so she isn't going to pack a large firearm!!

She picked the Chic Lady by Charter Arms. It is .38 Special loaded with 148 gr wad cutters. Weighs only 12 oz empty so she will always carry it. She bought a nice shoulder bag with a large front pocket to hold it. Works for her.

She carries the S&W 681 with hard Crimson Trace grips that she took away from me. She doesn't like semiautomatics at all!

Sig P238, Bersa Thunder 380, Colt Mustang Pocket lite or a 3913.
She actually prefers the std 3913 over the LS. She loved the look of the LS but when she shot both 3913 and LS she shot the std much better....go figure.

My girlfriend carries the S&W 3913 I bought her or the River LC9 with laser she picked up at a gun show. She prefers shooting the 3913 but the LC9 is easier to carry since it is smaller.

My wife hates guns, much less carrying one. When she shoots my SW27, she has no form, or stance. The only catch is she's a natural bullseye shooter. She shoots like its her job! She said she wouldn't carry anything except HER SW 27!
