What Else Do You Collect?

I started off my collection as a hobby. Now I consider my collection part of my retirement portfolio.

Hey Shoo - welcome to the club!! X number 1 is still costing me money, and X number 2 was kind enough to let me of the hook easy. Number 3 is a keeper (I hope).

Holy Carbine batman,,,, NICE ! ! !
I just have one M1 carbine. Underwood.

But I do have a small collection of 1900-1920 .22 rifles.
Peter.

Railroad artifacts, some older Lionel electric trains and Colt commercial government models.

I randomly accumulate guns.

Collection wise, I not so randomly accumulate older plastic toy soldiers (1940s to 1980s), 12" GI Joes (98 to present) and UFO books.

My wife passed three years ago, this is what she collected. Tatting shuttles, over 150 styles and materials. These are used to hand make lace, similiar to making fishing nets. I don't suppose they are of much interest to the guys on here, but maybe to some of the lady forum members. They are constructed of many materials, including gold, silver, brass, steel, wood, abalone shell, celluloid, bone, ivory and plastic. Tatting is called a lost art, however there is still quite a bit of interest in it.

Nope, my youngest son and I also collect coins. Mainly Walking Liberty halfs and Morgans, but we do the state quarter thing too.

Guns of all shapes and sizes, old recurve bows, old working decoys, wildlife and waterfowl prints, and I never met a fishing lure I could throw away. That about covers it.
