Looks like a Bomar to me. Anyone know for sure? Looking for a replacement as the previous owner bunged mine up a bit.

They are a Bomar upper with a different larger dovetail cut base
They were used from the earlier PC pistols up to around 1995 /1996 when the 845 got the standard Bomar
If S&W doesn't have them, the 3566 and 40 Limiteds are the most common models to use them

Limited rear sight 356TSW

If it is a factory sight on the Lew Horton, the rear sight should be stamped BOMAR, If it is not it is not the factory sight for the LIMITED .356TSW. S&W Used Bomar until the elder passed away a few years ago. Now S&W has developed their own sight as have all companies that used the Bomar unit. Actually like the S&Wmore due to the larger opening of the rear sights on the PC Guns.

Kengsight will fit as will most all the replica sights made for the Bomar BMCS patent as will STI, Harrison Design & Consulting, Ed Brown, Caspian as long as it is a 5" limited, make sure that you order the sight oversize and fit properly by a gunsmith, S&W can do it but they are behind on warranty work 6 months.

Factory Sight On Limited TSW

The originals are all stamped Bomar, If it is not stamped with BOMAR on the side of the rear sight it could be anyones. But Bo mar sight is no longer under they same original owner.
The one I just placed in the Guns for sale is clearly stamped Bomar
