What gun do you want next? I'm jonesing....

I could go on and on about what I want. I'll keep it to the 2 that are most probable. A blued N frame (caliber undecided yet) or a 3rd gen pistol in 9mm (not sure what model yet, got my SCSW coming to figure that out). Wish list for down the road when funds are better include a "black" rifle, a Browning High Power, a Colt Series 70 1911 in .38 Super, a Marlin 336. Gonna hit some gun shows after Christmas and keep an eye on my LGS who always has a great selection of used guns (that's where I picked up my 1076 for a fair price this summer) since most, if not all, of my purchases will be used guns that are shooters.

I know exactly what I want: a 7.5" COLT SAA in shooter condition, any caliber but preferably a .44 spl or .45. I'll be looking to trade a re-blued Python for it after the holidays.

EVERYTHING that everbody else has mentioned...

Plus a 625 in 45 ACP...

Plus a Ruger Scout Rifle...

Plus a Marlin Guide Gun in 45/70...

For Ivan the Butcher..........

I'll give you something to look at 'til you get one......

My gun fund is exhausted, but the wife got me a M&P 45 Compact that I had been trying to find for a couple of months. My Christmas present early. She told me if she buys the 45 it will be the only thing I get for Christmas and asked if I was OK with that? I said DEAL! It's a great pistol and much more fun than new socks and underwear.

Before I get anything else I'll need to sell some of the stuff I'm not shooting at an upcoming Gun Show. I've already spent all the proceeds from the last big gun safe clean out. And so it goes...

What's Next?

Well I already found a nice 66-2 at the Collinsville Gun Show last weekend, so I'm kinda thinking it's time to embrace a few of those "yeah, it's not practical, but it sure is cool!" ideas. So I'm thinking an Uberti 1851 Colt Navy cartridge conversion in .38 Special is on the list. Maybe a Peacemaker clone too, and for some strange reason I've always wanted a Beretta 92FS. So that's my list for now...but it grows daily thanks too you guys!;) Dale

A 22 caliber rifle...

I just bought it. A Henry Golden Boy 22LR. The reason is I like lever action rifles, and I simply was not shooting my Marlin 1894C 357/38 due to ammo costs. So, I figured a 22 would fit the bill. The Henry is one fine looking, smooth action, accurate rifle. And I get 550 (22 bulk) rounds for the same price as 50 rounds cost for 38 special.

I should add that I got one of my big desires this Christmas:

053-1.jpg

WWII 1911 by Colt. This one dates to 1943, was carried by a local vet on Iwo Jima, who won a battlefield commission.

Next on my list is a Ruger 22/45 with a threaded barrel. The govt. just approved suppressors in Michigan so....the 22/45 and a suppressor.......ok may get the Ruger 10/22 as well, threaded.

What gun do you want next?

Too much... :D

I'm really impatient in this case :o

But I would really like to put a S&W 25-3 125th anniversary commemorative in my safe :)

I will be making a deposit on a 4" M19-3 in a couple of days. Will be my 3rd S@W and first pre-lock, pre-MIM Smitty...

I drive truck for a living and my company has an annual safety bonus program. If I still have no accidents when I pull the parking brake valve at the end of the last day I work this calendar year, I will be placing an order for a new S@W 1911, E-series, stainless! Will be my first and likely only auto.....

I have a Glock 17 and a S & W 629 with 4 inche barrel, and access to a HK G3 (not mine, it belongs to the Swedish equivalent of the National Guard)

I do not hunt, shoot for the fun of it and that there may be situations when it is good to have a weapon I can manage at home. Unfortunately, there are very restrictive guns laws in Sweden, so its important to choose each gun carefully, one can not have very many.

Therefore, I am browsing a .45 ACP, it is easier to justify a different caliber than the ones I already have to the authorities. But I do not want a classic 1911, Im looking at a CZ 97B. I have big hands, so it fits me well.

A great gun!

I'm looking at a SIG 1911-22. Yea I know its a GSG but I held one the other day and really like the way it felt. I do need to wait another 20 days or so though as I am in "One Handgun a Month NJ."

What gun do I want next?
That`s easy. The next one I happen to see.

My wish list:

Blaser F3 O/U Sporting Clays 12 ga, Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel and a Wilson Combat 1911. Also, maybe a S&W .460.

I've always wanted a double rifle, preferably one of those big elephant thumpers. And I'd sure like one of those Hammerli free pistols on the martini action, even though I can't shoot it to anywhere near its potential. The Borchardt is the one automatic pistol that figures in my dreams; but any of these is so far above what I could spend it's next to impossible.

I'm jonesing for a SP101 4.2" 357, awaiting the Gen 4 Glock 20SF 10mm, a CZ 75 SP01 Shadow with EERW work and another 45 1911.

The 2 guns Im looking for now to replace what I once had is the S&W 544 in 44-40 and a S&W .44 russian. If anyone has either I have alot of trade bait.

Me Too............

Well Cyrano, I too would love a big double. I'm fond of the Merkel .470 Nitro express (140-2). What a behemoth! I have an avenue to get one at dealer cost whenever I want to, but $7500 is still a truck-load of money. They are around $10,800-$11,500 on the shelf. For now, I go into my LGS and handle one when I need a fix. My friend has taken elephant with his. I also live vicariously through him on occasion. I don't have an honest need for one, but Wow, I sure would enjoy it. Ammo is around $180 a box for the shooter stuff to nearing $400 for the bone breakers. Looks like it is off to the LGS for a date with my personal drooling towel.

The gun that New Jersey will me keep in my pocket when I am outside of my house.

However, it's more likely that I will first acquire Registered Magnum No. 506.

Good luck on that BM, I feel ya. Personally my next purchase will be a bug, I'm thinking an Airweight 38 or a Ruger LCR. I sure would like a 625 though.

Colt Lightweight Commander 38 Super..light and easy to carry,
but I could also settle for a S&W 25-5 4" 45 Colt.
