What guns do you carry the most?

Charter Arms Undercover or Model 60. BUG is dependent on which vehicle I am driving there is one in each.

I always try to point people, especially first time shooter women towards revolvers. This thread has really opened my eyes about the number actually carried. Around here, everyone wants an auto with 15 rounds. I guess once you have done it for a while, the reality of the weight and concealment clears up your thinking a little.

PS: Any thoughts on the new 22 mag ultralite 941 taurus and hornady critical defense ammo? Has me thinking it might be a better choice than the 380 autos.

Right now, this Glock 36 is my only carry gun. It's loaded with either 230gr Federal Hydrashok, 230gr Speer Gold Dot or 230gr Remington Golden Saber. All three types of ammunition function flawlessly out of this gun and have nearly identical POI at defense distances.

642 90%
M&P 45 FS 50%

M&P more often in winter, less often in, with the 642 nearly all the time.

When this thread first started, I was carrying my 2.5" Model 19 more often than not. Since then, I've started packing my SP-101 almost exlusively.

OK guys here is my question so answer it honestly. What guns do you guys carry the most ? ...

To be honest most of the time - daily - I carry a Kahr PM9. Admittedly I'm not a J-Frame fan although I do have a Ruger SP101 with a 3.16" barrel. On the weekends I carry either a CZ75 P01 in my Kangaroo Carry "Air Marshall" rig, or a CZ 75B in .40 S&W in a Galco Royal Guard IWB.

m27-2 3.5

OK guys here is my question so answer it honestly. What guns do you guys carry the most ? To be honest I would have to say that I carry my J Frame Airweight and my P3AT most often.

I carry the M&P 9mm short barrel equipped with laser grip for short, in building use, and a Leupold Delta Point mounted where the rear sight was. The Delta Point is for longer distance and short and is a great slide chambering assist, I carry with a Crossbreed IWB super tuck. The 9mm ammo is Hornady Critical Defense mixed with Black Talon.

I think you should carry one gun only. You need to be totally familiar with it. I own 3 guns that I consider are good for concealed carry or an off duty if I was still a Cop. They are the Colt Detective Special (I don't want to ruin the bluing and it has sentimental value since it was my off duty weapon, when I was a Cop.) a CS45 and a CS9.

I choose to carry the cs9, it has 8 rounds, is lighter and easier to conceal than the cs45. The cs9 is DAO, the cs45 is TDA. If it hit the fan, I wouldn't want to forget to deactivate the safety. I prefer the CS9, because it's trigger action is more like a revolver, like I am used to.

Carry one and train yourself on it. Learn to grip it so that you point and shoot so that it is 2nd nature. You will never ever use sights if it hits the fan. This is why I do not understand why you would want an off duty or a cc weapon with a lazer. The most I would understand is night sights, even then, I think it would be useless.

You can always dress to conceal your choice.
