+1 on Penn Bullets. I shoot their 158 grain TCBB (truncated cone beveled base) match grade in .357 Magnum. Very accurate and consistent. Also available in several diameters if you need something special due to over sized cylinder throats.
The Penn .357 158 TCBB Premium grade is the most accurate magnum lead bullet I have ever loaded.
Last time I ordered from Missouri the product arrived in 3 days. That was a while back though, I heard it may be different now. I currently have almost 6K of different caliber Missouri bullets so that should tell you how much I like them.
The latest, or one of the most recent, issues of Handloader shows the non-need for alloy to match the velocity, over the normal range of velocities.
About the only time I need a hard alloy, and 12-14BHN is hard enough, is with a couple of .45ACPs that have very shallow grooves and real soft bullets can't "grip" it--leaving lead along the inner groove and poor accuracy.
