Can someone identify these for me?

Grips.jpg

I know they're N-Frame.. I picked them up with some other stuff and am curious. I'm into post war Smiths so I don't have a clue on these.
I think the serial number on the right side grip is 195609.. but it might just be 95609.
Thanks

They appear to be 30s era service grips but the numbers you gave don't add up. The serial # shouldn't be that high, post war models, which these are not, began around serial # 62000... NICE FIND!

From the serial number and the lanyard swivel, I would guess they are from a Model 1937 Brazilian. They are standard service stocks with the large silver medallions

m-1911 is right, I was thinking that 1917/1937 were in the same serial # range as other N frames... I stand corrected...

A pair of grips, a swivel, and a pecan dining table??

Seriously, Gary nailed it- 1917 Brazilian.

I'd say the swivel is worth $15 and the grips $15 to $30 in that condition.

I have shopped for those items recently and that's about where the prices were for items shipped from this board or at gun shows, etc.

Kamerer,
You are going to have to move your estimates up if you ever want to find a pair....
For the past couple years, grips like that have been selling for $100 just to harvest the medallians..... sorry to say.

Really? Oh man, I have sold some WAY to cheaply then!!! I sold a pair a little bit rougher or about the same as those for I think like $30 or so...

Well, they found a good home.

You must be joking! I bought one last month at a show for $12. One of the listers just sold a slew of NOS ones packed in cosmoline for $17 each.

To borrow a phrase I heard here on the forum, Like many things on ebay, I can only assume liquor was involved...

Those look like these.

I hope to use some of these in the future.
These are all I have found in the last 10 years.
