What hobbies do you have besides S&W ?

Brewing beer & BBQ; I don't have smokers as nice as those pictured above, but still an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. (Have to drink beer while tending the fire box). :)

I enjoy girl watching on nice warm days :)
My main hobby since I was a kid was HAM radio - but haven't been active in a few years now :( I'm not even sure why not

Doing dirty crosswords, collecting belly button lint (I've made a beautiful throw for the guest room), saving grocery store twist ties, and making tree frog skeleton mobiles.
Sounds like someone is starting the celebrations early!
This applies to Sip, too

Other hobbies other than shooting/gun related things!

Car guy (gear head) since about 14YO. Have always had a fun car for interesting driving times. Have attended many car shows for many years. My avatar (07 Z06 Vette) is my current fun car, thought its in the garage till March do to the winters we get here in NYS. Even with no snow, ice, salt or sand to contend with the Z rated tires on this 505 HP car are useless below 40F.

Definitely not a safe car for winter use, but I bought it for good weather, which will be here again.:D

Aside form Guns, I ride a Harley Ultra Classic, collect Lionel Trains, have an occasional Cigar with good friends, and have a Work Shop that gets puttered in daily. I also enjoy working on my Cars and Motorcycle.

Since age 12 I've enjoyed making plastic model planes. WWII is my specialty. None of them are museum pieces, but relaxing way to pass time in the winter. Years ago I built a kit car Porsche. Sold it after a few years to pacify spouse. If I could do it again I would have got the real thing.

My primary hobby is duplicate bridge. I play in local club games and in sectional and regional tournaments. I have played it competitively for over 50 years.

I was playing disc golf until my recent back surgery, which has left my back unable to deal with the stress of the twisting motions involved in throwing the discs. So my current hobby is a very sedentary activity so I have to begin a walking program and a mild exercise program.

I have had to curtail.....

I've had to curtail my many hobbies to try to get our boy raised. Now it's shooting/reloading, chess, and recovering old music from my albums and tapes. House needs a lot of work, so that has become a hobby, though a rather hateful one.

One hobby I wish I (we) hadn't given up for now is singing. My wife and I used to travel around the state giving concerts as well as singing in the choir and several opera/classical type organizations. Maybe one day we'll get back into it.

I do still read a lot.

Motorcycles and everything about them was my No. 1 hobby for most of my life. Then I got into guns, competition, instructing, reloading and gunsmithing which displaced motorcycles. I have a Harley Trike for the road and a Suzuki V-Strom for around town. Just as well, its too cold for me to ride if it is below 60* :-( I am now making hunting knives just for my amusement and for the family. I will never sell one. I am amazed at how much the tooling for gunsmithing and knife making overlap and complement each. ................ Big Cholla

I have many hobbies: Guitars, Motorcycles (2004 Road King Custom, and Honda CT90's), minibikes from the 60's, building furniture, gardening, camping in my vintage Shasta, fixing anything that's old and broken, Glocks, and shooting.

I like to relax playing guitar (my guitar collection is vastly larger than my "weapons arsenal"). I enjoy playing golf. I like cooking and experimenting with new recipes. Smallmouth fishing and boating have been a passion for many years.

I have a bunch of things I liked to do that have wained a bit in recent years. Mostly because my boys are away at school and their dad is getting older!

Other than collection or accumulating my S&W's I love shooting some of them and the rest of my guns. I have some NIB that I'm going to leave to my 17 month old grand daughter. I have been reloading since 1977, I reload 22 different calibers for handguns and rifles. I cast bullets. I grow a garden using as many heirloom seeds as I can. I give some of what I grow to older people I know that are too old or aren't able to have a garden. I can and or freeze what I grow in my garden. I enjoy woodworking. I whitetail hunt. I fish. I love smoking butts & making the best tasting B-B-Q you ever tasted, some call it Eastern North Carolina style. I call it Southern Virginia style, everyone knows NC stole it form us here in VA!!! Do pretty good job of smoking turkey and ribs too. Sometimes I cook. And the most enjoyable thing I do is spend time with my 17 month old grand daughter.
