A friend of mine has a 10" Third Model [Perfect Target Model] .22, LNIB, with the extra 'Olympic' barrel included. It's had 2 rounds shot thru it period. He'll be here in an hour, and he wants to sell it. Any idea of the value? Thanks, Steve

Man, something like you describe is so uncommon (only 2 rounds in it's nearly 100 yr. life) it would be hard to value. With 2 barrels to boot. Maybe around $2500 ??? Maybe more ???

SCSW3 lists an Exec+ as $1600, They don't show a value for an ANIB, but would guess $2000. Then the extra barrel, I'd guess another $375-$500. Looking at $2300 to $2500 total. The Experts would probably rate this even higher, but need pictures to tell. I assume there is the box and tools also? Would it be possible to post a picture? I just "revived" a 3rd model, (see post). They really are fun to shoot.

Some sad news guys. My friend brought the 3rd Model over for my inspection. When he opened the box my heart sunk. The frame and both barrels had been re-blued, and the original grips were gone. He knows very little about guns so he thought it was a LNIB pistol. Although it was truly beautiful, I offered a mere pittance of what it would have been worth if an original LNIB. I wanted to buy it to shoot, having never shot one. I did chamber a cartridge in both barrels. The cartridge chambered easily in the one barrel, and I had to push it down in the other barrel as it came up about an 1/8" of chambering all the way. I didn't bother to see if both barrels and the frame had matching numbers. I don't know what it's worth as it is, but I appreciate all your responses.-Steve
