The original factory rear adjustable sight that had wings to protect it was made either by or for Smith & Wesson and I am not aware of any other source originally other than the S&W parts department, and I do not believe that sight is manufactured any longer. You might be able to find one at one of the places that buy out parts or you could pull one off an early used 3rd generation auto.

The sight is basically the S&W micrometer click adjustable rear unit, modified to work on the slide of an auto, protected by wings, and originally fitted to one of the versions of the high cap 39s made up for the SEALS and later called the Hush Puppy because, with its suppressor, it was designed to take out sentries, or guards, who often had guard dogs with them.
